Formation Song/Video: Pro-Black Anthem or Marketing Ploy Pt. 2: B is not a Slut but I Am still not Here for Her 🙅🏽

Ok so if you read my last post on Beyoncé Formation song/video if you haven’t yet I will post a link to it: https://atomic-temporary-67213700.wpcomstaging.com/2016/02/10/formation-songvideo-pro-black-anthem-or-marketing-ploy-bwoke-bfake/ then you know I might have said some pretty harsh things about B & I just wanna take this time to clear up a few things.

Now yes I know I called  Beyoncé a slut. Let me explain. I don’t like B and I don’t think I ever will. That being said maybe I should have used a different word to get my point across. What I really ment when I said that was less that she is a slut and sleeps around but more that she just has an over sexual image.

I just think that people look at B as this super unrealistic sexual creature. I know every decade or two there is that one huge pop-star that is just everywhere and everyone no matter what kind of music you like you either end up liking this person or being forced into liking this person. But lets say you don’t like this person? Let’s say you don’t really agree with how this person is portrayed or the music they make. Oh well you must be the worse person on planet earth and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I know right now people are looking to their hiphop, R&B, and pop-stars to write and talk about what is going on out here in these streets and I get that. You look up to these people and you want them to care about what is going on in the community. But are people that hungery for some woke content in their music that they will take even the tiniest crumbs.

I not going to say I take back what I said just maybe how I said it that was a little uncalled.

I just think it’s a little sad that if a little girl decided to listen to B that except for like four songs with somewhat socially conscious themes all they will get is songs about sex. I mean think about when Destiny’s Child was still a thing most of the songs they put out where very girl power/feminist songs about being independent and taking care of yourself. Once Beyoncé went solo she did have a few songs like that but once she married Jay she just sang more and more about sex. I know that everybody talks about sex or love in their music I get that but they usually have other topics they can talk about as well.

I still don’t think this song/video is a pro-black theme like most people do. I don’t think these white supremacist groups should boycott here either. I don’t think the song especially but the video either makes you think she wants the police to die she just wants our people to stop dieing which is one thing I can agree with.

I understand being proud of you body but when your “perfect” then  idk.

This will hopefully be the last time I will be talking about B directly but like I said above I need to work on my wording of what I call people no matter how I feel.

She is not a slut but I am still not here for her.

Rad Fag has said it best: “Beyoncé is a logo. Beyoncé is a commodity. Beyoncé is a production. Beyoncé is a distraction. Beyoncé is a ruse. Beyoncé does not actually exist.”
