Hello Readers! With winter right at our door step I though I would post some music I’m currently bangin & some of my favorite winter/holiday songs.

Current Bangers:

Tribe Called Red- Love Them! So their basically a really cool First Nation electronic group from Canada that mixes native traditional pow wow music & electronic beats. It’s cool it’s cultured and it will make you dance.
Watch/Listen Below:

Oka- Their this very chill group out of Australia with an aboriginal member who plays the didgeridoo. I can fall asleep or meditate to their music plus I love the sound of the didgeridoo.
Listen Below:

Nahko (Bear) & the Medicine People-
Hippie music with a native twist. Nahko Bear is Native American, Puerto Rican & Filipino with a black guy, women and white guy in the band and they talk about a better world. Very multicultural with a positive vibe.
Watch Below:

Soja- White Reggie band from VA. Their music is so positive and gives you hope for the world while telling you how their can be shitty days but we have to look to the positive not the negative. Love them preach brothes!
Watch Listen Below:

Elle Varner- Love her and melodic voice that she uses to talk about real girl problems in a fun way. She is putting out a new album soon. Check her out.
Listen/Watch Below:

The 1975- They’re a UK band with a R&B flare. I have been listening to them on repeat I love them so great.
Watch/Listen Below:

Haim- They’re this group of sisters who got this indie/R&B feel to them. They can sing really well too.
Listen Below:

Kendrick Lamar- I love his song i it’s very motivational and makes you feel good. “I love my self”

Jhene Aiko- Love her since her song Bed Peace and have been jammin to her latest album Souled Out. She reminds me of a young modern day Sade.
Listen/Watch Below:

Mapei- Love her so much. She is fresh and original and new. Loved her since Don’t wait.

Flobots: They have been out since 2008 and are a rock-hip hop group who make positive rhymes about world change and democracy.
